Token: Philippines Anting Anting Talisman
Anting-anting is a Filipino system of magic and sorcery that uses talismans, amulets and charms. There is a southeast Asian tradition of tribal jewelry where 'anting-anting' means 'ear pendant.' These charms are most commonly used by folk-believers as a repellent of disease, danger, and death. The date of 1001 is ficticious. They are usually made of non-precious metal, but silver examples are found. Modern versions incorporate Christian and Masonic symbols. SN JOSE PATRIARCA probably alludes to St. Joseph the Patriarch.
It is difficult to place a value on such items. To one practicing sorcery they are probably quite valuable. They can be found around the web selling for a few US dollars to about $100.
There is a short article at CoinCommunity with an example in brass.
