Great Britain Half Penny 1937 to 1970 If your coin were in really good shape, Nikki, like my picture of an almost uncirculated specimen, it would be worth in the neighborhood of $5 US dollars. In average circulated condition, the value is about $1 or less.

Coins with George VI run from 1937 to 1952, and coins with Elizabeth II run from 1953 to 1970. All of them are worth about the same today.
