If your coin were in really good shape, Nikki, like my picture of an almost uncirculated specimen, it would be worth in the neighborhood of $5 US dollars. In average circulated condition, the value is about $1 or less.

Coins with George VI run from 1937 to 1952, and coins with Elizabeth II run from 1953 to 1970. All of them are worth about the same today.
