Sir or Madam --
You have a 6 kreuzer coin from the old German State of Bavaria. They are minted with the bust of Maximilian IV Joseph (ioseph) and LAND MUNZ (country coinage) on the reverse side. The denomination, 1, 3 or 6 kreuzer, appears on the reverse as well, with kreuzer abbreviated as K.
These silver coins carry decent numismatic (coin collector) value, even when they are heavily worn. There are not many specimens left, and collectors want to add them to their collections. The coin in our picture comes from Munzhandlung Ritter in Dusseldorf, Germany, and CoinQuest thanks them for use of their coin photo.
