This coin is made of copper-nickel and was issued only in the year 1937. With 42 million made, it is quite common and worth only a few US dollars when in superb condition. If you can find a fully unicirculated piece, it should bring over $5 US dollars when sold to a collector who wants one for his or her collection. Circulated specimens are worth far less.
