Token: US Guardian Angel Good Luck
Token: US Guardian Angel Good Luck

Hi Matthew.

From your description, it sounds like you have a medal or token, not a coin. A coin will normally list the country it was minted it, its denomination, and the date of issue. You have not described your item as having any text or numbers - this is usually a tell-tale sign of a medal or token.

We have taken our best guess about your item. There are plenty of coin-like objects with angels on them, so this may not be your piece, but this one is quite common and fits your description. It is made of gold-colored base metal.

Such medals or tokens, with little or no wear, attractive eye appeal and colorful toning, may sell to a collector for a few US dollars. It is unlikely that it has much numismatic value, that is, value to coin collectors. Typical values run like this:

worn: less than $1 US dollar
average circulated: $1
well preserved: $2
fully uncirculated: $5

Coin: 14943 , Genre: Tokens

People who do not believe in the supernatural (God, angels, the Bible, etc.) will tell you that 'you make your own luck.' My personal belief about luck is explained in my article about Bible creation at this link [PRESS HERE]. The real question is this: Do things happen randomly or is God in control? I think God is in control. What do you think? It is an important question for a young person like you! - CoinQuest (Paul)

omg i found one in an envelope of money that i was donating to my club for school

I found my Angelic medal on my driveway, miraculously appearing on the same day I had prayed earlier for Divine guidance! I had walked my short driveway 5 minutes earlier - went inside to retrieve an umbrella, returned outdoors to find it in the exact spot I had stood only a few moments earlier. Believe in miracles! - Claire

Well we found a little piggy bank at a friend of ours yard sale and I eventually shook it and heard a couple coins in there and for the longest time couldn't get the coins out .... And one day my curiosity got the best of me so I asked a friend to help me get it out and what we found was a quarter and the two-sided golden Angel Token! - Katherine

I was going to go cash my coins in today and at the coin machine there was an angel coin is sitting where the coin should have fallen into the slot but didn't. Im going through tough times so maybe its a way of showing someone or thing is watching over me. - Xena
That is very cool. - CoinQuest (Todd)

Your tooth fairy money? nice! - CoinQuest (Paul)

My husband just brought this coin home, said he found it and thought I would like it with the angels on both sides. Boy was he right. I am a big believer in God and the spirit world. Somehow, this coin came to me during a time of need.

The Bible talks about visible (physical) and invisible (spiritual) portions of creation. Without a spiritual component, the Bible makes no sense. You are welcome to read our article about this subject at this link [PRESS HERE] on our sister site Answers from the Book. - CoinQuest (Paul)

I found mine today when I was metal detecting on the beach! I always find meaningful objects when I md!

2 angel tokens have found their way to me; one given & the other I spotted in the dirt at an outdoor event. It seems that no one has actually purchased a coin for themselves. But, rather all have been found or come by way of mystery (or miracle!).

I found it in with my sons change box so it's his guardian angel even though I found it He dose not know where it came from pray it helps us both we need a miracle
Trusting in lucky charms does not make much sense to me. Find a good church or synagogue and seek help there. - CoinQuest (Paul)

Ironically my brother had stolen something from me and I was retrieving what he stole from his room where I had just seen what I was looking for but I knew he had some more of my stuff. I was frustrated and muttered under my breath 'I'm gonna kill this kid someday' but then I lifted the bed and found it laying there. So because of the irony it made me laugh, but I've never seen it before and he hasn't either.

I found it in my backpack and I dont know how it got there maybe its a good luck coin
