Token: US Guardian Angel Good Luck
Token: US Guardian Angel Good Luck

Hi Matthew.

From your description, it sounds like you have a medal or token, not a coin. A coin will normally list the country it was minted it, its denomination, and the date of issue. You have not described your item as having any text or numbers - this is usually a tell-tale sign of a medal or token.

We have taken our best guess about your item. There are plenty of coin-like objects with angels on them, so this may not be your piece, but this one is quite common and fits your description. It is made of gold-colored base metal.

Such medals or tokens, with little or no wear, attractive eye appeal and colorful toning, may sell to a collector for a few US dollars. It is unlikely that it has much numismatic value, that is, value to coin collectors. Typical values run like this:

worn: less than $1 US dollar
average circulated: $1
well preserved: $2
fully uncirculated: $5

Coin: 14943 , Genre: United States

People who do not believe in the supernatural (God, angels, the Bible, etc.) will tell you that 'you make your own luck.' My personal belief about luck is explained in my article about Bible creation at this link [PRESS HERE]. The real question is this: Do things happen randomly or is God in control? I think God is in control. What do you think? It is an important question for a young person like you! - CoinQuest (Paul)

omg i found one in an envelope of money that i was donating to my club for school

I found my Angelic medal on my driveway, miraculously appearing on the same day I had prayed earlier for Divine guidance! I had walked my short driveway 5 minutes earlier - went inside to retrieve an umbrella, returned outdoors to find it in the exact spot I had stood only a few moments earlier. Believe in miracles!

Well we found a little piggy bank at a friend of ours yard sale and I eventually shook it and heard a couple coins in there and for the longest time couldn't get the coins out .... And one day my curiosity got the best of me so I asked a friend to help me get it out and what we found was a quarter and the two-sided golden Angel Token!
