With no date or inscriptions, you can be pretty sure this is a token, not a coin. The VB gives it away as a modern piece made by Van Brook industries in Kentucky. You can see this design, with dozens of other designs, on this page of the Van Brook catalog [Click Here].
It is a neat token. The patterns come from old-time Spanish coinage. A collector would probably pay $1 or $2 US dollars to add a well-preserved specimen to his or her collection.
