Token: US General Motors (GM) Motorama 1955
Wow, that's cool, Steve. Those come from the day when cars looked different from one another. Back then, each model had its own look and character. Today, they all look alike. To me, anyway.
Enough of the commentary. Now on to business.
The General Motors Motorama was an auto show staged by GM from 1949 to 1961. These automobile extravaganzas were designed to whet public appetite and boost automobile sales with displays of fancy prototypes, concept vehicles and other special or halo models. (wikipedia) Different tokens were given out during different years. The 1955 token is quite common and avidly collected. Prices are low. Here are some typical values:
