Medieval Spain Ferdinand and Isabella 1/2, 1, 4, 10 and 20 Excelente 1474 to 1504

In their joint reign, Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon have been known as the 'Catholic Monarchs' since the title was bestowed upon them by Pope Alexander VI in 1494. Their accomplishments are still remembered today, some for the better, such as authorizing the exploratory journeys of Christopher Columbus; and some for the worse, such as establishing the dreaded Spanish Inquisition.

Requester description: Side 1 Devices: Facing busts of Ferdinand and Isabella? in a circle of dots. 8 pronged star just above them with 4 equi-distant dots. 'S' sign with 4 equi-distant dots between them. Inscription read 'FERNANDVS o ET o ELISABET o DIEGRA?IA o REX o'. The '?' is unreadable. Side 2 Devices: Eagle? over shield. Shield split into 4. SW & NE are filled with 6 vertical lines, though some lines then make a diagonal cross with 2 stars inside. The NW & SE parts are sectioned into a further 4 parts with insignia inside. Inscription a little hard to with my untrained eye. Something like 'SVDoVMBRAoALARVMTVARVM'. None
