Token: Great Britain UK New Pence Vending Only
If you are a merchant, one good thing about tokens is that you can make them for nothing, sell them for something, get real money when you sell them, and never have to redeem them because people forget them in their sock drawers. What's not to like?
These are modern tokens from the UK. NP stands for 'new pence,' which were introduced when the UK went decimal in 1971.
These tokens sell for a few US cents on eBay. Many denominations and patterns are available.
