These coins commemorate the Expo 75 World's Fair held on the island of Okinawa in Japan from July 20, 1975 to January 18, 1976. They are made of copper nickel and are worth 100 yen. According to xe.com, 100 yen is equivalent to about 85 US cents, but that could change tomorrow. Look it up.

Coins in uncirculated condition sell for $3 to $5 US dollars on eBay. Circulated coins sell for about $1.
