Hi Chris -- It's an old 1 kopek coin from Imperial Russia. Neat! Coins of this age start to pick up some collector value, even though there were millions made. The catalogs say:
Worn: $5 US dollars
Average circulated (like our picture): $25
Well preserved: $70
If you find one with a KM mint mark, not the EM mint mark like yours, triple the catalog values.

Requester description: 1801 1 KOnENKA on 1st side with a line under the word and the year 1801 under the line with the letters E.M. under the year at the bottom of the coin.On the 2nd side is a crown on top of an n shaped ribbon with the number 1 at the bottom with inconsistant nicks around the edges.
