Belgium 1 Franc 1941 to 1947
Tony -- That must be an old one franc coin from German-occupied Belgium. These coins are made out of zinc and do not stay preserved very well. Just about all these coins are worth only a dollar or two US, unless you can find one dated 1947, which are rare. A 1947 coin catalogs over $100. All other dates are worth $1 in average circulated condition. The coin in our picture is well preserved and may fetch $5 from a collector.
