Jamaica 5 Cents 1969 to 1993
Jamaica 5 Cents 1969 to 1993

Your Jamaican 5 cent coin is very modern and, like all modern coins, it is worth face value. The only time a modern coin is worth more than face value is when it is made out of gold or silver, or when it is in fully, absolutely uncirculated condition. Collectors will often pay a premium over face value to add superb modern coins to their collections.

The coin shown is a proof coin, made especially for collectors.

Being from Floria, I like the design. The coin catalog says that's a crocodile, not an alligator. We have mostly alligators in Florida. Just as well. Those crocs are mean!

worn: less than $1 US dollar approximate catalog value
