Superb coin, Chadrick. The one in our picture comes from Status International where it is on sale with a recommended price of $150 US dollars. This is a decent price for a nice looking coin free of all problems such as cleaning, spots, stains, holes, and scratches. Astute bidding in SI's auction might buy you the coin at a price lower than $150.
The catalogs call out these approximate values for all dates in the series:
worn: $40 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $60
well preserved: $180
fully uncirculated: $350
Use our Important Teminology page for a discussion of catalog values, and how they can be converted to actual buy and sell values.
CoinQuest thanks Status International for use of their coin image. It's a beauty!
Note to Chadrick -- The Standard Catalog of World Coins includes a minor variation to the 1913 date which makes it more valuable. Seek out a professional numismatist to determine if you have the special coin, cataloging at $300 in average circulated condition, or the normal one.
