Hello koleta your 1902 barber or liberty head quarter would be a 90% silver and 10% copper the coin is real and its a Philadelphia mint coin the stamp letter markings would be located below the eagle's tail above the quarter dollar lettering the only mints that stamped the barber quarters are (O) new Orleans (D) Denver and (S) San Francisco the condition date and lettering is readable but really worn I would say the price could go high as $5.00 maybe others can help you out as well as for prices goes, but thank you for showing it and hope this information helps you

To add to what Carl said, common dates of these coins typically don't sell for more than 16 times face value in well-circulated condition. Your coin has about $3 (USD) worth of silver in it, and when a coin is this beat up you usually won't find much value beyond the silver content.

Still a very cool coin! For more information on Barber quarters, please check out our link to the left (under 'Web reference').
