Date: 1948 - Question: Error?

Hello coin community I'm new to collecting I have a 1948d usually red penny, Is this normal it's alot more red in person as opposed to the picture.

Well, your coin seems to have red toning, due to the environment it is in.

Its value depends on the collector, some dislike, and pay less for a toned coin, and some pay more for one. I would guess to a typical collector of a toned coin, it may add an estimate $2-5 extra value to your coin.
