Date: 1922 - Inscription: Peace Dollar - Question: Genuine?

I only wanted a a Buffalo nickel, but saw these too. Couldn't resist. Naive, new, amateur, coin collector. Seller only from now on. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yes, fake also, as before. But don't give up on collecting. There is no easy way to become an expert, only the hard work that long-time experience brings. You are gaining plenty of that experience. Enjoy the coins, and only spend a lot of money when you are ABSOLUTELY sure of what you are buying. Resist buying coins because they appear to be a 'good deal.' Most of the time, they are not good deals!

Oh dear, had higher hopes for this one as more bidders were interested, but on receipt, it did feel wrong, and the variable quality of the letters was inconsistent over the coin. Is there anything specific that can be identified as wrong. It's not magnetic, but doesn't give off that ring that silver does. And it weighs 22.64g, the Seated Liberty one was 22.45g. Thanks for your advice, I think I may try to specialie in British coins for a while.
