Date: 1797 - Inscription: britannia 1797, georgius 111 dg rex - Questions: Identification? Value?

Hello
I have a 1797 Britannia coin with what looks like stamps on
both sides, T V on the Britannia side and J L on the head side. I was wandering if anyone knows what they are.?
Also what is the coin worth. ?

Coins like yours, with people's initials stamped into them, are more common than you might think. Also, counter-intuitively, there are collectors for such coins. Please see our page on this subject, which contains pictures and approximate values.
