It is a 'plack' or 4 pence from Scotland. Date is about 1500AD. There is not enough inscription legible to ascertain precise date. The [numista] web reference to the left shows another related coin.

Values of these coins in the condition shown in my picture above is about $100 US dollars. Yours is probably worth about $30 due to condition and lace of legibility.

This one is almost identical to yours. It comes from James V of Scotland, 1513-1542. It sold for $100 US dollars.
