The link to the left would be to a page about your coin and its estimated value.

Ah, so I shouldn't get my hopes up? :) I do not think it's an original anymore but where do you think it came from?

Unfortunately, I don't specialize in authentication of coins, and I am conflicted whether to label it a restrike or modern counterfeit in order to give you an accurate assessment. If it is just a modern counterfeit made to fool people, then it be literally anywhere in the world that one is able to get metal casted into a coin.

Perhaps you might be able to upload a picture of the other side of the coin? It should help greatly anyone else that would reply to this post.

Usually, there are way more knowledgeable people here that handles authentication for coins, though it is a bit tricky to do so through photos only in contrast to an in person examination.

US Confederate States 1 Cent (Counterfeit) 1861
Since less than 20 genuine Confederate States of American (CSA) cents were ever struck, Bobo, you probably have a replica of this famous coin.

The coin in our picture is a counterfeit. It sells for a few US dollars as a novelty piece. If it were genuine, the catalogs say its value would be ????based on the information that you post.????
