Spain 1, 2, 4, 8, and 50 Reales (Philip III, Philip IIII, Charles II) (Fakes are possible) 1607 to 1700

Three warnings before we start:

1. There are many different coins with HISPANIARVM REX and PHILIPPVS IIII. We have chosen the most probable one.

2. These coins are valuable and valuable coins are always subject to counterfeiting. Be sure your coin is genuine. See picture of sample fake below.

3. Never clean a coin. Cleaning ruins value.

Philip III ruled in Spain between 1598 and 1621, Philip IV between 1621 and 1665, and Charles (CAROL) II between 1665 adn 1700. They issued coins with the pattern shown throughout their reigns. You can tell the denominations by size and by the numerals to the right of the crowned shield.
