Portugal 60, 120, 200, and 400 Reis 1677 to 1816

These are really neat old silver coins. Some are very valuable, others are not. The basic pattern is the Jerusalem Cross on one side with the words IN HOC SIGNO VINCES (in this sign you will conquer) and a crowned shield on the other side with the name of a Portugese ruler and some form of PORT ET ALG (Portugal and Algarve; Algarve is the southern region of Portugual) REX (king). The denomination is keyed to size, with 200 reis and 400 reis called out explicitly. Sometimes there is no date.

60 REIS, 1667 to 1777: about 18 mm diameter
120 REIS, 1667 to 1816: about 24 mm
200 REIS, 1677 to 1816: about 28 mm
400 REIS, 1681 to 1816: about 36 mm
