The city and surrounding province of Caracas in Venezuela minted their own coins during the early 1800s. Pace's coin is from the royalists who were loyal to Spain during the Caracas rebellion of 1810. The 2 reales denomination is much more prevalent than the 1 or 4 reales which have the same pattern (shown in picture) but are of different sizes.
