These are old German coins from the old German State of Bavaria. They are minted with King Ludwig I's likeness, and LAND MUNZ (country coinage) on the reverse side. The denomination, 1, 3 or 6 kreuzer, appears on the reverse as well, with kreuzer abbreviated as K.
These silver coins carry decent numismatic (coin collector) value, even when they are heavily worn. There are not many specimens left, and collectors want to add them to their collections.
The listings below give approximate catalog values for all dates in the series, except 1836, which is a rare date and much more valuable. Be sure to use our Important Terminology page to help interpret these catalog values.
