Greece 1 Lepton, 2, 5, and 10 Lepta 1832 to 1857

Greece 1 Lepton, 2, 5, and 10 Lepta 1832 to 1857

The trick with these coins is to find one in great shape. Coins that are well preserved are worth a bunch of money. The one in our picture is average circulated condition, which is about as good as you normally see them.

These are copper coins from Greece. This page applies to coins that bear the crowned coat of arms and the denomination inside a wreath, although the wreath itself may look slightly different than our picture.

As with all valuable coins, you must beware of counterfeits. If you are buying one, be sure you know the seller well.
