Now, I agree with Alex. It looks like the name on this coin is John J Cabbott. And isn't there a John Cabbott somewhere in history? (Answer: yes, but with a different spelling) However, this is Canada's Prime Minister from 1891 to 1892, John J C Abbott.

This is not a coin but a promotional token produced in the mid-1960s. For one as in our picture, a few US cents would buy it. If it were in better condition, the price might go up to $1 or $2.
