Canada Ontario Mining 1967

Token Canada Ontario Mining 1967

The provinces of Canada confederated in 1867. During the 1967 centennial anniversary, all sorts of special medals and tokens were manufactured as national commemoratives. This one commemorates the role of mining in Canada's development.

These metals are usually made of nickel or bronze, and sell as high as $15 US dollars for pristine, uncirculated pieces. Circulated pieces are worth far less. If you have one to sell to a dealer, figure he or she will pay about 1/3 retail price.
