These coins come from the State of the Vatican City near Rome. They are made of stainless steel. All the denominations have the same inscriptions and patterns for Pope Pius XII, but the sizes are different.
The 1942 date (anno IV) are quite common. All the denominations, the 20 and 50 centesimi, and the l lira, and the 2 lire, are worth about the same for the 1942 date:
COINS DATED 1942:
worn: less than $1 US dollar approximate catalog value
average circulated: $1
well preserved: $2
fully uncirculated: $5
But, if you can find a coin dated later, anno V, VI, VII or VIII, then you've really got something. Here are the values for those coins (all denominations)
COINS DATED AFTER 1942:
worn: $20 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $50
well preserved: $75
fully uncirculated: $150
