Rhodesia (Southern, Zimbabwe) 6 Pence 1932 to 1952

Southern Rhodesia is called Zimbabwe today, but before 1966 it was ruled by the British and they minted coinage to support commerce. The design shows the reigning monarch one one side and twin axes on the other. King George V appears between 1932 and 1936, and George VI thereafter. In 1947 the composition of the coin changed from sterling silver to copper-nickel.

According to the coin catalogs, some dates of these coins reach decent value levels. Our listings below call out general values for most dates, and then show special dates after that.
