Typical retail values for these medals run between $5 US dollars, for a worn and unappealing medal, to $25 for a fully uncirculated specimen with good eye appeal.
Selling an uncirculated medal to a coin dealer would probably bring $5 to $10. Since they are not coins, they are not as heavily collected and more difficult to sell. This make the large retail mark-up necessary.
