Great Britain 1, 2, 3, and 4 Pence (William and Mary) 1689 to 1695

William and Mary ruled Great Britain from 1688 to 1694. Their likeness appears on coins minted during their reign. Back then a penny was worth something, so they were minted in silver, a far cry from today's pennies which are minted, so it seems, in cardboard.

These coins show William (Gulielmus) and Mary's portraits on the front, with a crowned 1, 2, 3, or 4 on the back. These four denomination are nominally worth the same amount in collector value, so we call out prices averaged over all the denominations and all the dates in the listing below:
