Japan 10000 Yen (Counterfeit) 1874

Sorry, Mats. This is a counterfeit coin with zero value. There are genuine 10000 yen coins, but they are modern coins used as commemoratives, noting dated 1874. See a real commemorative at this CoinQuest link (click here). I've seen some information (e.g., this Numista page) that says the fake coin is made of silver. If so, the silver is valuable. NGC is a highly reputable company, but I would be leary of trying to sell this coin as silver bullion. Take it to a jeweler and ask about silver content.
