These old silver coins come from the Grand Duchy of Warszawa (Varsov, Warsaw) with the portrait of Friedrich August I, King of Saxony. They are rare coins and command good value, especially in well preserved condition.
Two denominations carry the same inscriptions and patterns, but with different sizes:
1/3 TALARA: 28 mm diameter, 0.174 troy ounces silver
TALAR: 39 mm diameter, 0.531 troy ounces silver
