Hi Robert -- If you do a search on this site using the single word 'conder' in the Inscriptions and Other Info field you will find a large number of copper British tokens named after him. James Conder took it on himself to catalog these fascinating collectibles. Building a complete set of Conder tokens would be a very challenging numismatic (coin collector) project.
This particular token was worth one-two hundred fortieth of a British pound and carries the image of Nottingham Castle. It is somewhat rare and very difficult to find in high grades.
Typical catalog values for thee tokens run like this:
worn: $25 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $45
well preserved: $80
These are catalog values which can not be taken literally. Use our Important Terminology page (link at left) to understand what 'catalog value' really means.
