Southern Rhodesia became Zimbabwe in 1980. It was a self-governing colony of Great Britain until then. Queen Elizabeth issued the large silver crown in 1953. There are no other Southern Rhodesian crowns than this one.
The 1953 crown contains 0.455 troy ounces of silver, and that gives it a base value (BV) equal to 0.455 times the current price of silver. At the time of this writing, silver is trading at $23.50 US dollars per troy ounce, so BV = 0.455 x 23.50 = $10.60. Tomorrow the BV will be different because silver changes price continuously. Look it up at web sites such as kitco.com.
If you have a circulated coin, you can pretty much expect the value to be somewhere very close to BV. However, since only 124,000 of these coins were made, fully uncirculated specimens may be a little difficult to find. That means their price will rise well above BV, perhaps doubling BV.
