Italy Bi-Metallic 500 and 1000 Lire 1982 to 2000
Italy started to make 500 and 1000 lire coins for circulation using cool bi-metallic designs. The 500 lire have a gold colored inside ring and a silver colored outside ring. It's vice versa for the 1000 lire. Unfortunately, there isn't a trace of actual gold or silver in these coins. They are made of non-precious metal.

For the circulating bi-metallic coins, values are low. Typically the 1000 lire are worth a smidgen more than the 500 lire, but on average:
