Great Britain Durban Commemorative 1934

Medal Great Britain Durban Commemorative 1934

Durban is the largest city in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. Durban is famous for being the busiest port in South Africa and Africa. Obviously, Prince George visited in 1934.

Base-metal medals like these are quite common and do not carry much value. The one in our picture is corroded and stained, so it would be worth less than $1 US dollar. A fully uncirculated piece might sell at $10 retail.
