Nice coin, Mysty1! You have either a crown or half crown from Great Britain. Both these coins look the same, but their size is different:
CROWN: 38 mm diameter
HALF CROWN: 31 mm diameter
Half crowns that look like our picture were minted from 1839 to 1887, while crowns that look like our picture were minted from 1839 to 1847. This page applies to half crowns and crowns between these dates.
