To determine your coin's alignment, hold it between your thumb and forefinger with King Albert's head upright. Place your thumb on the bottom and forefinger on the top. Now turn the coin from left to right, as if turning the page of a book. Then look at the drapery side:

- Drapery side upside down is coin alignment
- Drapery side right side up is medal alignment
