You are correct, Jack. Your coin is a gold ducat from the Kingdom of Holland in the Netherlands. It is a Napoleon I (NAP) coin from the 1806 to 1810 annexation by France. There are stuiver (silver) coins with similar inscriptions and images. This page applies only to gold ducats like the one in the picture.
The coin in the picture comes from Künker GmbH & Co. in Osnabrück, Germany who sold it at auction for 650 euros (about $900 US dollars) in 2013. The Künker coin is in beautiful shape and it therefore commands high value. CoinQuest thanks Künker for use of their coin image.
There are 0.1084 troy ounces of gold in this coin, but the numismatic (coin collector) value sends prices much higher than basic gold value. Typically:
worn: $300 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $600
well preserved: $800
fully unciruculated: $1100
