I think these Mexican 50 centavos have a pretty cool design, with a proud Native American looking right on one side of the coin, and the beautiful national arms of Mexico on the other side.
These coins were struck in silver, although only 30% pure. Their main value is not as bullion but as collectibles. They bear a mint mark of a small o over a capital M, or 'Mo', which denotes the mint in Mexico City.
These coins were struck for only two years. The 1951 date is scarcer than the 1950 date, but this doesn't change the value too much, as noted below:
