Hungary Ducat 1704 to 1707

Hungary Ducat 1704 to 1707

Gorgeous coin, Deborah. If it's genuine, it's worth a ton of money. Here are typical catalog values:

worn: $1000 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $3300
well preserved: $6000

The coin in our picture is a beautiful specimen. It comes from Numsimatica ARS Classica in London where it sold for 7000 Swiss francs (about $8000 US dollars) back in 2005. Today I'm sure it would sell for more than that.

As with all valuable coins, you must be sure to guard against counterfeits. Deal only with people you know and trust. You must also take extra special care of your coin. Keep it safe and away from oily fingers and airborne impurities.
