Medieval Netherlands Floris Culemborg 1, 2, and 4 Pfennig 1537 to 1598
There is not a ton of information available on old Dutch coins like this one. A super web site about them appears at duiten.nl. The 2 pfennig (duit, P II at top of side with square) in our image comes from Münzen und Medaillen Deutschland in Weil am Rhein, Germany. Generally for these coins the denomination (P I, II, IIII) does not play a big part in value. The overwhelming factors are condition, or state of preservation, and eye appeal. Most of these coins today are worn to a frazzle or damaged in some way, such as holes, cleanings, scratches, bends, or stains. This lowers value substantially.
