Italy Tuscany Novelty Piece

Token Italy Tuscany Novelty Piece

We have to do some educated guesswork on this coin. It appears to be a novelty item manufactured in recent times for sale in the Senesi region of Tuscany, Italy. The club design on the back strongly resembles genuine dupondius coins of the region, but the sword-bearing knight and SENESI and VLTIMI ETRVSCAI inscription (Senesi and the last Etruscan) appear to be modern inventions.

We have been unable to find information on a genuine coin like this modern novelty piece.

A collector might pay as much $10 US dollars for the modern novelty. Selling it to a coin dealer could bring $3 or so.
