Rothenburg is in the Franconia region of Bavaria and is known for its preserved medieval town, a destination for tourists from around the world.
That is Frederick I, known as Frederick Barbarossa (red beard), of the Holy Roman Emperor, where he ruled from 1155 until 1190AD.
