There are several Yemenese coins that look something like this one, but only the 1/80 riyal from AH1322 has the ring of stars on the back interrupted only at the top and the bottom by Arabic lettering. Of course, Walter, we are making an educated guess that we have found the coin you describe. It seems to match in most of the areas you provided. These coins are not easy to find, in catalogs and in real life. They carry good value.
The coin in our picture comes from respected dealer Stephen Album Rare Coins in Santa Rosa, California, and CoinQuest thanks Stephen for use of his coin photo. This coin sold for $110 US dollars in a 2013 auction. It was produced in 1330AH (1911AD), as shown on the side with the stars and circle
Catalog values for these coins run like this:
worn: $25 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $100
well preserved: $250
Stephen's (pictured) coin is in nice condition. The characters are easily visible and the surfaces are not dark or corroded. If the coin were difficult to read and unattractive, even with minimal wear, the price would be much lower. Worn coins, as always, are worth much less.
