These coins were struck during the reign of Muhammad V an-Nasir of the Husainid dynasty, ruler of Tunisia from 1906 to 1922. His name is written in Arabic on the coin, along with the name of the country, the denomination, and the date. 5 and 10 centimes are struck in bronze, while 50 centimes and 1 & 2 francs are struck in silver.
