Spain 25 Pesetas 1992

Spain 25 Pesetas 1992

On the obverse of the coin you can see the Torre del Oro (Gold Tower), a dodecagonal military watchtower in Seville constructed in the first third of the 13th century.

These are all modern coins. Before the euro took over, they were worth face value in Spain, about 0.1 US cents. The 25 pesetas coins are minted in aluminum-bronze. If you have a completely uncirculated coin, or one with extra-good eye appeal, a collector might pay $1 or $2 US dollars for it.
