Jamaica 1 Dollar 1990 to Date

Modern coins in circulation are worth face value. According to xe.com, one Jamaican dollar is equivalent to 8/10ths of one US cent.

Collectors will often buy modern coins for more than face value if they are in good condition. The examples shown in our pictures might fetch 25 to 50 US cents from an interested collector.

Note that the shape changed from circular to 7-sided in 1993. The shape does not affect value.
