The coin in our main picture (to the right) has taken on a pretty blue toning. Most of these coins are not toned and look silvery. They are made of aluminum. Some dates, those before 1968, appear in brass (secondary picture). The flower is a rose of Sharon.
All coins of all dates are worth much less than $1 US dollar when in worn or average circulated condition. For coins in better condition, catalog values run like this:
1 WON 1966 BRASS
well preserved: $2 US dollars approximate catalog value
fully uncirculated: $10
1 WON 1967 BRASS
well preserved: $1 US dollars approximate catalog value
fully uncirculated: $3
1 WON 1968-1977 ALUMINUM
well preserved: $1 US dollars approximate catalog value
fully uncirculated: $3
1 WON 1978-1982 ALUMINUM
well preserved: less than $1 US dollars approximate catalog value
